Zero Junk started with a simple idea: to make junk removal easier for people while making a difference in the community. Venkat Garlapati, our founder, spent years working as a software developer in the tech industry. Although he was successful, he wanted to do something that felt more personal and give back to the place he called home. In 2015, he and his cousin decided to launch Zero Junk, starting with just one truck and a big dream.

From the beginning, Venkat focused on building trust and offering reliable service.
